It’s great that you have reached this part of the website which means you might be interested in supporting us financially. Thank you! Both one-off gifts (which can be designated for specific projects) and regular gifts (which help to keep the Health Centre running on a day-to-day basis) are immensely helpful.
There are three ways that you could do that:
1. Regular gifts: For this we would ask that you contact us for our bank account details plus (if you are a taxpayer) a Gift Aid form. This will ensure that we receive the full amount from your donation. The email contact to use is sibanortrek@gmail.com
2. One-off gifts: You can either contact us via sibanortrek@gmail.com for our bank details and gift aid form, or you can visit our Stewardship account page at https://www.stewardship.org.uk/partners/20529002
and select the ‘give’ button on that page. You don’t need to have a Stewardship giving account to give to us this way: you can simply give a one-off gift as a ‘guest’. The wonderful Stewardship team will process the payment for us, reclaim Gift Aid (if you are a UK taxpayer) and transfer the proceeds, minus a small service charge payment, direct to the SHED the Light bank account.
3. Leave a legacy in your will: this is quite easy! Simply include a bequest in your will to Shed the Light Charity (UK Charity Commission number 1206831, with registered address 3, Chapman Lane, Flackwell Heath, Bucks HP10 9AZ).
How your donations are used:
The Trustees meet all the operational costs of running SHED the Light so 100% of your donation will go to Sibanor.
For non-specific donations the Trustees in liaison with the CEO of the Health Centre will decide what is the most beneficial use of your donation. If you wish your donation to go towards something specific then please email us and we can give you some suggestions and ensure that your donation is used in line with your wishes.
Prayer support
We so value prayer support for the health centre as we minister to patients and staff members, the majority of whom come from a Muslim or animist belief background. We also value prayer as we seek to demonstrate and maintain Christ-centred love and unity amongst the Christian staff and visiting volunteers, and as we support the local evangelical church (ECG) in their outreach ministry.
A good way to keep updated is to receive the health centre newsletter which comes out around twice a year. If you would like to support us in prayer more personally as Trustees then we’d be delighted to include you in on that too.
