Welcome to SHED the Light Gambia!

We’re passionate about bringing hope to the people living in challenging conditions in the rural Gambian area of Sibanor.

​

It’s an area where subsistence farming is predominant, where families struggle to generate enough income to live on, and where people sometimes still go to a ‘Maribou’ local healer before they come for medical treatment. It’s therefore an area where there is a great opportunity to demonstrate God’s compassion and love through provision of good health care and where there is great need, together with great opportunity, for people to hear the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
